After months of silence, Just Flight has published a detailed November update on the long-awaited F70/100 Professional for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 — and while there’s still no confirmed release date, the project appears to be entering its final stretch.

Development of the Fokker twins, which began with early artwork back in 2022 for FSX and P3D, has since evolved into one of Just Flight’s most ambitious undertakings. Following the success of their 146 Professional and RJ series, the team shifted its full attention to the F70 and F100 — regional jetliners known for their complex and highly integrated avionics, on par with modern Airbus and Boeing systems.

According to Just Flight, both aircraft are now fully functional in MSFS 2020 and 2024, and have been in beta testing for several months. The latest milestone is the integration of the full sound package, with the developers now focusing on final refinements to the automatic flight system and FMS — particularly the intricate coordination of LNAV, VNAV, autothrottle and flight management modes.

“We need to maintain our usual high standards for the day one release,” the team wrote, emphasizing that they won’t compromise on the authenticity of these critical systems, even if it means extending development.

New preview videos showcasing the aircraft’s feature set are also in production and expected to be released soon.

Meanwhile, Just Flight has spent much of 2025 updating all ten of its existing MSFS aircraft to MSFS 2024 compatibility, culminating later this month with the release of the 146 Professional v2.4 update.

The studio also confirmed that the A300B4 airliner project is progressing well, with cockpit and cabin interiors complete and exterior modeling and systems coding in advanced stages. More information on that aircraft is expected soon.

While the wait for the F70 and F100 continues, the tone of this update suggests the end is finally in sight — and Just Flight promises that the result will be “well worth the wait.”
