Canyon rotorcraft challenge arrives with Supai Village Helipad in MSFS 2024
Cli4D Designs introduces a focused backcountry helicopter destination with Supai Village Helipad (AZ15), set deep inside Havasu Canyon, Arizona for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Located within the Havasupai Indian Reservation, this remote landing zone sits far below the rim of the Grand Canyon, surrounded by towering red rock walls, narrow canyon corridors, and constantly shifting desert light. Approaches demand disciplined energy management and precise vertical control, as canyon winds and confined terrain leave little margin for error.
The scenery package centers on the Supai helipad and its immediate environment, recreating the distinctive geography that defines this isolated settlement. Terrain contours and elevation profiles have been refined to reflect the dramatic canyon topology, while immersive ground textures enhance depth and spatial awareness during low-level flight.
Water features receive particular attention. Iconic waterfalls—including Havasu Falls, Mooney Falls, and Hidden Falls—have been significantly enhanced, capturing the striking contrast between turquoise water and red sandstone cliffs. Custom 3D models with PBR materials bring structures and natural elements to life, reinforcing the sense of operating within a living, rugged landscape.
