miniCockpit has revealed details about the upcoming miniOVHD, a compact and highly detailed Airbus-style overhead panel designed to enhance the realism and tactile control of your flight simulation experience. Following the success of the miniFCU and miniEFIS, this new module brings another level of immersion to desktop cockpits.
The miniOVHD features high-resolution injection molded switches and rotary knobs that replicate the look and feel of real flight controls. Each button is designed with 2mm travel and includes dual-color LED lighting for accurate status feedback. Every detail has been carefully crafted to deliver a realistic, high-quality feel in a compact form.
All push buttons and switches are assignable, allowing users to customize functions to suit their setup. While the visual appearance remains authentic to Airbus layouts, functions like “PACKS 1 & 2” or “PB/WIN HEAT” can be reassigned to other tasks within your sim software.
The package includes a free mounting frame and is designed to work seamlessly alongside the miniFCU, offering a consistent and modular expansion for your home cockpit.
