Pilot Experience Sim – LFPG Paris Charles de Gaulle Development Progress for MSFS

Pilot Experience Sim has shared their July 2025 development update, and the spotlight is now fully on their most ambitious project to date: LFPG Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS and MSFS 2024).

With the native FS24 versions of their existing airports already completed and released over a month ago, the team confirms that 100% of their resources are now focused on LFPG.

According to PESIM, the development has reached an exciting phase:

  • A completely reworked texture and object library is being used, designed specifically to handle the massive scale and complexity of LFPG.
  • Runway work is nearly complete, including custom profiles that accurately replicate the real airport’s slopes, RETIL exits, and other intricate scaling systems.
  • Terraforming is almost done, which was one of the most technically challenging aspects of the project.
  • Terminals, towers, and secondary structures are under active construction, with a focus on realism and immersive detailing.

While only two preview images were shared in this update, PESIM explained this choice by emphasizing their commitment to showing only polished areas, with a multitude of details still in progress.

The team describes LFPG as their most advanced project to date, and expectations are high. More updates are expected in the coming months.
