Orbx’s FTX Trees HD, from developer Scott Armstrong, was actually released a couple of days ago, but claims among the visual improvement you’d expect, to improve FSX’s performance with an “up to a 20% INCREASE in FPS and no increase in VAS usage compared to what you are experiencing now“. Compatible with FSX and P3Dv1 and v2 and almost any scenery file set from default upwards, but featuring region-specific autogen if you own one of more FTX regions, you can find out more here.

Today, however, an update has been released for the FTX EU Norway region, SP1, with a list of fixes available from a link on this release announcement at their forums. If you use FTX Central V2, the update can be obtained through that. Otherwise, it can be downloaded from their site, here.
