The team of FlyByWire Simulations decided to show some more of their ongoing project of the Airbus A380 for MSFS, with new preview screenshots of the overhead and of the pedestal.
After the announcement of the A380 Freeware project for MSFS, FlyByWire Simulations already uploaded the first and early 3D modelling screenshots. They have worked on the exterior body, the pedestal and main panels, the knobs and sidestick, and even on the 2D displays.
The makers of the popular and freeware A32nx for Microsoft Flight Simulator announce an ambitious project, also freeware. They have started to model in 3D an Airbus A380, “without affecting progress on the A32NX whatsoever” according to their statement here.

Next Level Smulations decided to compare some shots shots of their actual A380 simulation with the actual displays of the double-deck wide body. Open their Facebook page to see the Flight Controls page of the Systems Display, and then the Navigation Display with the Terrain Display feature activated.
One of the current Airbus project is being run by Next Level Simulations, the massive A380 development can be followed on their Facebook page. The last shot they uploaded shows the Navigation Display with the vertical profile being worked on.
Next Level Simulations is busy working on their upcoming Airbus 380 model for FSX and P3D, via their Facebook page we are served this tasty three preview images described as “external 3D model closeups – rendered in 3d studio max. Model and textures however are 1:1 in FSX/P3D.”
sdsI was about to write there’s the first preview video online showing the A380 of Next Level Simulations on their Facebook wall. But I remembered their 3D rendered video when we could see their -older- exterior model. Today, you can watch at the takeoff and initial climb with the PFD…
What a change. After years of silence, Next Level Simulations is sharing many preview pictures including the 3D virtual cockpit of their Airbus A380. You can also have a look at the overhead, FCU, 2D panels, PFD.. All of this is work-in-progress but it’s already really attractive.
