Apollo Software will be showing its new color terrain radar during the German Flightsim Conference in Paderborn, this Saturday. The ‘Global Terrain Radar’ or GTR is a novelty for the MS Flight Simulator FS9 and FSX and is integrated into the standard Garmin GPS display of the sim. It shows the pilot where dangerous (i.e. high) terrain is, so it can be avoided. More information on their web site.
