New F/A-18E Coming To FS

Cody Bergland reports that “……Vertical Reality Simulations has released a munitions video demo of their F/A-18E being developed for FS2004 and FSX. The video shows briefly a target being locked onto and fired at by an AIM-120……”.

No. There are not – at least until someone works out how to do it using an external module or the missions system (which is far from impossible). Microsoft Flight Sim is a purely flight simulator and does not include combat of any kind as part of the package. Some add-ons have got working air-to-ground munitions included – as this one has – but you cannot fly around destroying anything you like. I know this is a simulator and you can drop bombs and shoot missiles, but are there air to air combat missions in this game or what?
