Wilco Publishing releases Harrier Jump Jet

Few aircraft in aviation history are as iconic and ground breaking as the British Aerospace Harrier “Jump Jet”, so it’s probably no surprise that there are a number of them in development for Microsoft Flight Simulator X.

The first of the bunch to see the light of day comes from Wilco Publishing, covering the 1980s-era Harriers GR.3 and FRS.1 (“Sea Harrier”).

The (FSX only) add-on is advertised has having “a unique flight model to allow highly realistic simulation of the vertical takeoff and landing VTOL characteristics”,  along with a number of other features such as a “fully functional” HUD, radar simulation and cannon effect visible from the cockpit.
