Navdata Update for X-Plane

Interested in using X-Plane 9 as a serious simmer ? Do not worry about navigation data updates as there are regular data cycle available for global airports of course, but alose fine details.

The latest cycle 2011-08 includes for example “several highly-detailed general aviation airports in California”.

“New data is now available for X-Plane 9. This is data cycle 2011.08 valid from 28-Jul-2011 to 25-Aug-2011.

This is a minor update, but includes several highly-detailed general aviation airports in California plus the usual minor refinements to other global airports, nav-aids and fixes. See the change log on my website for details.

These files will work under Windows, Mac OS or Linux. If you wait until the next incremental release of X-Plane 9, then this data will be installed automatically if you use the “X-Plane Updater” – this avoids the need to download my files and install the files into the correct folders! But . if you want the new data immediately, then download my files and install theminto the appropriate folders (instructions are on my website).

As always, get the new data from my website at: http://data.x-plane.com.

Please join me in thanking those who keep contributing to the X-Plane database. Helpful feedback is always appreciated.”
