Closure of RealAir Simulations

legacyv2_07

Today brings the sad news that RealAir simulations are closing their doors. In a blog post published today, Sean and Rob mention the reasoning to the closure and rather unexpected news.

The full post can be found on their site and is due to family health issues for Sean and with Rob reaching the retirement age and feeling like he doesn’t have “enough energy to carry on with the level of work our customers have come to expect.”.

Best wishes to both you gentlemen and much appreciation for your contributions over the years. I’m an old guy that’s been involved with this hobby since the FS4 days and want to state that our sim world won’t be the same without you. God bless and enjoy! You’ve both earned it.

It is a very disappointing news.
We purchased the product(Real Air Legacy for FSX) at the store in 2014.
There was a paid version upgrade of this product.
Was the opportunity to purchase it forever lost?

I am using google translation.

All products of RealAir have been withdrawed. I’m afraid the answer is yes.

That’s a shame to hear. I really like their Duke B60 (both V1 and V2)… Was still (maybe naively) waiting for the P3D version for that aircraft.

I wish the entire RealAir team all the best in their further lives and endeavours.
