Hamburg Airport – EDDH V2 is the first scenery of JustSim that supports officially P3D5, and it’s free for simmers who recently purchased EDDH V2 for P3D4.4+.
It’s still possible to upgrade at a reduced price if you have an older version of Hamburg airport, so you can benefit of the numerous SODE items, PBR effects on 3D objects, and many other airport updates.
The developers team added that “Next will be updates P3D V5 for the airports of Basel, Stuttgart, Nice Cote d’Azur, and Düsseldorf.”

If you experience red crosses on the airfield: It’s a missing file to support Sode 7.0 and instead of the windsocks a few red crosses are shows.
If you don’t have a clean P3Dv5 install and already had the P3Dv4 Version installed this might not appear..
Check the SODE log. Most likely you run sode 1.70.
For 1.7 it is required to define the alt for the EDP by a value and not by “0#!AGL”. Can easy be changed in the affected xml. I did it for almost 40 xml files by myself.
Meanwhile there is an additional Windsock.zip download available at Simmarket to fix the issue of the missing files.
