Canary Islands Aerial Imagery Add-On Releases for MSFS

Over the lasts weeks, Island Creations group released aerial imagery MSFS add-ons for a few of the Canary Islands (El Hierro, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura). These add-ons replace the default MSFS ground textures which derive from Bing Maps with custom high-resolution color-corrected aerial imagery.

They solve the issues with the default ground textures like the unrealistic colors (e.g. the green tint, especially green roads and sand), contrast issues (e.g. some really dark areas) and clouds in the picture. They created these add-ons because we know that a lot of people have been waiting for a realistic version of the Canary Islands in a flight simulator for years and even the new MSFS could not provide one due to the poor quality of the Bing Maps aerial imagery.

During the development it became even more evident what a huge impact the quality of ground textures has on a realistic experience. Our add-ons are available on simMarket.
