In their keynote video produced for FlightSimExpo last weekend, Laminar Research still leaded by the founder Austin Meyer, introduce the new version of X-Plane 12.
Some features highlights :
- New weather system with computed forecast based on NOAA global grid instead of a local METAR reports system,
- volumetric clouds
- special rain effects that will boost also the weather in its visual aspect (wipers clean the water on the windshield, engines and wind can splash the water
- fleet extension with Airbus A330
