Aerosoft – A330 Project Switched to MSFS 2024

In a surprising announcement today, Aerosoft has revealed a strategic shift in the development and release plans for its highly anticipated A330 project, initially planed for Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020). After a thorough evaluation of the project’s status, the renowned flight simulation developer has decided to redirect its efforts towards the upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (MSFS 2024). This move aims to provide users with an enhanced experience, incorporating additional features and options at launch.

The decision to switch the release to MSFS 2024 comes as part of Aerosoft’s commitment to delivering a high-quality and comprehensive simulation of the Airbus A330. By aligning with the latest iteration of Microsoft’s Flight Simulator, Aerosoft aims to take advantage of the evolving technology and features that MSFS 2024 is expected to bring to the table.

One of the key highlights mentioned in the announcement is the inclusion of multiple engine options, adding a new layer of realism and customization for virtual pilots. This feature is likely to cater to the diverse preferences within the flight simulation community, allowing users to choose from various engine configurations for a more personalized experience.

Furthermore, Aerosoft has revealed its intention to release both the A330-200 CEO (Current Engine Option) and the A330-900 NEO (New Engine Option) variants simultaneously. This decision will undoubtedly please aviation enthusiasts who have been eagerly awaiting the chance to explore and compare the capabilities of both versions of the Airbus A330.

The simultaneous release of CEO and NEO variants reflects Aerosoft’s dedication to providing a comprehensive and inclusive simulation package. Users can look forward to experiencing the subtle yet impactful differences between the two versions, from performance characteristics to advanced avionics and systems.

Mmmn. As I recall did MS not confirm that aircraft and scenery in 2024 will be comparable with MS2020? So we wait, I guess.
