ST Simulations has nearly completed its EHBK Maastricht-Aachen Airport project for Microsoft Flight Simulator, a project they have been dedicated to since February. Set for release through soon at SIMMARKET via Aerosoft publisher, the project includes a highly detailed 3D model of Maastricht-Aachen Airport’s terminal, complete with an interior. The development team extends their gratitude to Roy van Kan for providing reference photos and to the EHBK airport authorities for allowing photo documentation in April.
The project boasts a comprehensive range of features, including the EUROCONTROL Maastricht Upper Area Control Centre (MUAC), a cargo terminal, the east hangar and apron, and accurate runway and apron layouts as of 2024. It also includes custom static aircraft models like the Dash 8 – Q400 and Embraer 195, custom hangars, airport buildings, offices, lighting models, taxiway signs, and static ground vehicles. Additionally, the project incorporates many airport buildings, highly detailed textures using Physically Based Rendering (PBR), and realistic runway and taxiway markings.
ST Simulations promises a highly realistic and detailed representation of Maastricht-Aachen Airport, with numerous custom objects, models, and environmental details.
