‘Boxed’ PMDG MD-11 Now On simMarket

pmdgmd11_5After the announcement in Paderborn last year of the cooperation between PMDG and Aerosoft, the results of that can now be bought in a box. simMarket has just released three boxed PMDG products (the MD-11 for FSX and FS2004, or both) on its shop.

The reasons things cost more than the base package (not at all unusual – do some research into volume pricing. Specialist add-ons to software are very regularly priced higher than their host package) has been discussed to death. There’s no excuses for not knowing and understanding the reasons behind it now, whether you agree or not.

On the other hand, it is unfortunate that because of the complexities and costs of producing modern add-ons, the top end products are now out of the reach of more and more simmers.

ONE HUNDRED euro… And i thought the Duke was kind of expensive. Jeez, puts things back in perspective. I will stick with the PMDG 747 for a while…
