RSC becomes Dovetail Games

RailSimulator.com head Paul Jackson has announced that the company is changing name to Dovetail Games, as part of a rebranding exercise due to expansion into gaming areas other than rail simulation.

In this post at their “Engine Driver” site, Paul Jackson writes “It was clear to me that with our new, broader perspective, we would need a new company name. RailSimulator.com has been the perfect name for us over the past few years, but once we start to expand into new areas outside of trains, this name could create some confusion.

Do not think that our focus on train simulation is set to change – far from it. I will continue to grow our train simulation team and we are currently putting together our most ambitious product release plan to date.“
