Mounted in many real airliners, the original RAAS system is provided by Honeywell and it stands for Runway Awareness and Advisory System. It’s made to increase safety by providing aural calls for awareness and advisory information in the cockpit to the flight crew when they enter or cross a runway, to identify the runway number, and to say how much runway length is remaining at takeoff or landing.
FS2Crew reproduced this detailed system for MSFS, as they previously did for P3D. With RAAS Professional, you get it working in all the aircraft of your collection. You can even create, share and edit aircraft profiles that will enable the system even in airports with encrypted data.
