Hot news of the press! Skysim have just released there new model of the Dassault Mirage III for FSX. Here’s what they say about their model:
“The shining Jewel in the crown of French military aircraft design. Dassault and the Mirage III showed the world just how potent France was when developing sophisticated supersonic fighting machines. This Mach 2 monster served and still serves with many airforces around the world including Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Egypt, Libya, Pakistan, Venezuela and Australia.
The model is downloaded from this site for which you make no payment (payment is made using the Flight1 wrapper). ”

Hi,has anybody actualy managed to buy and download this aircraft, please let the rest of us know how ,step by step.A total frustrating experiance for me, their link “contact us” also inop. am bald from pulling hair out, bout ready to tell em to stick it.
According to this thread over at Sim-Outhouse, it looks like there have been some issues, but everyone seems to have got it in the end. It might be worth taking a look and seeing whether anything there gels with your experiences?
I hope you can manage to get it sorted, because it looks like a good aircraft.
The download process is straight forward. And the notes have been adjusted based on the experience of a few. Basically you register in the Skysim store to create an account (no money questions), then download it for free. When you install it the Flight1 wrapper handles the payment. The install requires v4.5 of the Microsoft installer which you should have if you’ve kept up to date with those free updates Microsoft is alwasy pushing out. Links are provided in case you don’t have it. The install is in three parts so it may seem like it is looping but it is just going through the process three times — no worries. When the smoke clears you’ll have a fantastic set of new aircraft in your FSX hanger.
