Farewell to FS Magazin: The Last Issue Before Closure

FS Magazin, a renowned flight simulation magazine, is bidding farewell to its readers after 18 years of publication with the release of its last issue, FS MAGAZIN 4/2023. The final printed edition is available for purchase from Aerosoft’s website and through direct orders to the publisher. Digital copies can be obtained from SIMMARKET. The magazine’s last issue includes an editorial reflecting on its 18-year journey, appreciation for contributors, and various articles covering sceneries, airplanes, instruments, tools, and more.

The sceneries section highlights airports such as Liège Airport in Belgium (MM Simulations), Tallinn Hanseatic City Airport in Estonia (Drzewiecki Design), John F. Kennedy Airport in New York (iniBuilds), Love Field Airport in Dallas (iBlueYonder), Tampa Airport (Verticalsim), and Reefworld (AUscene), Hamilton Island (AUscene), and Christchurch Airport in Australia and New Zealand respectively. The airplanes section reviews the MD-83 and MD-88 aircraft (Fly The Maddog), the ongoing development of Embraer E-170 and E-175 models (Aerosoft), and the RANS S-6S Coyote II (FlyBoy Simulations). Other sections cover instruments, tools, a captivating flight experience in Colombia, hardware, and military aircraft.

Although FS Magazin is retiring its print edition, there are plans to continue in a looser form as a downloadable PDF. Updates will be shared through their Facebook page and other online media partners. The magazine expresses its gratitude to readers for their loyalty over the past 18 years and encourages them to stay tuned for future updates.
